Are You A Victim of Blogging Frustration? 7 Tips To Avoid It.

Sharing is caring!

Are you Frustrated?

Just take a long deep breath and start reading this post with a calm mind and you may find a cure to your frustration.

Let me tell you that you are facing the mental state which many successful people have felt on their way to success.

Frustration is common among bloggers and entrepreneurs who work hard but still don't get any return. Everyone faces disappointment once during their journey to becoming successful.

If you choose to be an entrepreneur in your life, you choose a path where you would have to first endureย hell to reach the heavens.

With this post, I don't want to console you. I am going to point out the mistakes you have been doing and tips to raise above the pain of failure of your venture.

1. If you are among the majority, You are going in the wrong Direction

What would you do if suddenly a lot of salesman come to your house, trying to sell the same product in the same manner.

Would you buy the product?

Most of you would have seen the famous movie named The Wolf of Wall Street. The way the main lead of this story, Jordan Belfort makes a sale is completely on a different level in comparison to others. He is among the few minority of people who does things in a different way and achieves his goals.

You can learn from this movie, and stop following the herd. Use your own brain, generate new ideas and do things in a different way.

As their are already a lot of hard working people there in the market, you may not be able to compete all of them. But smart work definitely can beat them all.

2. Stop doing things the way you have been doing so far.

Do you think that launching yet another service like Facebook or just re-writing an article can make you a millionaire.

Let me tell you again that there are already a lot of hard-working fools out their thinking the same way.

Do you think that Steve jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates followed the footsteps of others to make themselves a millionaire.

It's good to get inspire from someone, but going to far and just copying the exact success formula won't help, as what worked for them might not work for you. You need to create you own identity and do things the way you feel.

3. May be it's not about how you are doing, but about How much you are doing it

Most of you reading this post, may be very smart people. But that's not enough sometimes. Imagine if Thomas Edison would have been lazy, bulb would have been invented by someone else.

Opportunities are always there for a limited amount of time, and we have a limited life-span as a human, so gear up now, it's not a time to be fooling around and being lazy.

4. Accept your mistakes, instead of blaming it on others or making excuses

A failed venture is only a failure when you lose all your hopes. Accusing other for their mistakes will only break the precious bonds you have with your friends. A true man never makes and excuse.

So just accept your mistakes and move on. Ventures are insignificant in comparison to the bonds of friendship.

5. Start Researching

Just accepting your mistakes won't solve the problem. Start researching on what went wrong.

Learn from your mistakes. Find new ways to counter the problem.

Find a key to your problems, and if you don't find one, create one.

6. Make a Sure shot Success Plan

So you are done with your research.

Great, now make a sure shot success plan. Plan out the roles each member of the team has to perform.

Assign roles making best use of the skills set of your team. In case you encounter a trouble again, make sure you have a back up plan.

7. Execute the Plan with all you have got

Every good plan needs a flawless execution. What good can a katana (great sword) do, if it is not placed in the hands of a samurai (warrior). You need to execute your sure shot plan with all you have got.

If only you could achieve this, you will finally attain success.

Anyways, always remember that what may seem as a success, may seem to you as a milestone later. That's the reason, success is said to be a journey and not a destination.

  9. Great Tips Kunal,
These tips are great to avoid frustration from blogging. I will definitely try these tips. Mostly #2 #4 #5 and #6. I will work on this plan.

  10. Hi Ganglani,

I understand exactly what youโ€™re saying. I used to be desperate too, I was surfting for points to get more traffic to my site, and I used to be obsessed over numbers. I was looking at the stats many times a day to see if I had any new visitors. Now, Iโ€™m more relaxed to the numbers. I keep writing and connecting with other bloggers and I feel that Iโ€™m getting more attention from people and it looks like things are going my way โ€“ because Iโ€™m working hard.

I still ยซstruggleยป when it comes to my online business strategy, and how Iโ€™ll be earning money from my blog. I only do a few affiliate sales, thatโ€™s about it. But, I understand that since Iโ€™m doing my best to build a popular blog, Iโ€™ll end up with a great business, if I just keep focusing on what Iโ€™m currently building.

    • I must say that you are going in the right direction. Don’t be obsessed with stats, as they are variable, and the graph can go up and down exponentially anytime.
Focus on building your brand, in the process, you can try doing product reviews, ad banner display, sell text links or become a freelance writer. :D. I hope for your success.

      • yup, I’m not repeating these silly mistakes now, I found your article very informative and your writing style is also very unique, keep it up ๐Ÿ™‚

  11. Hi Kunal,

Thanks for this inspiring and eye-opening post.

I am also an victim of blogging frustration (sadly). But, anyways, I have successfully managed to beat it. That period was one of the worst period in my blogging career which I won’t like to remember now.

Thanks for your actionable tips, now I can prevent from getting blogging frustrations and do peace-blogging.

    Thanks,
    Sayantan

    • Defeat, Depression, Frustration are a part of our journey to success, the only thing that matters is that we learn a lesson from it and move forward. I wish you luck Sayantan ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. Thanks for this Kunal, I agree that we all get frustrated at times when blogging, but it is important not to give up.

    • Yes when you give up, then only you can call it as a defeat. Until and unless you loose hope, nothing is impossible ๐Ÿ˜€

  13. Though I haven’t seen the Wolf of Wall Street (would watch it now), I definitely agree with the point. If you are selling the same thing in the same way, no one would buy it. So, either sell something different or in an entirely different and impressive way.
And you’re right about following the successful people stupidly and blindly. this is what happening in the blogging world. Thousands of new blogs are created each day and such bloggers try to follow footsteps of the successful ones and plan to do exactly what those people did and eventually they fail. They never understand what went wrong. One must understand that he cannot achieve his own success by doing what someone else did, even if you’re in the same profession and you’re supposed to do the same thing. Look for a different way. Look for something of your own.
Identifying what went wrong and correcting it is very crucial for someone’s success. And Most of the people fail at this. Many of us are not able to identify our mistake, either due to our stubborn nature or due to lack of knowledge. But just recognizing the cause of failure isn’t enough. One has to work on finding the method to correct the wrongs and make everything right.
Having a plan and following it is really important but while doing this, one must remember that even if you make a ‘sure shot success plan’, you may fail. at such a time, you shouldn’t get frustrated. I know it’s too natural. But try to get rid of this frustration as soon as possible and start working on another plan and keep doing it until you succeed. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Well said Manpreet. If getting success by following others worked, every one of us would have been a Steve jobs. You got to follow the direction, your heart leads you to.
I would also like to say that frustration is the immense stress faced by all bloggers these days. I would like to recommend bloggers to involve in physical activities like yoga, exercising to bear this burden. ๐Ÿ˜€

  14. Thanks for your this post! I have been always a victim of Blogging Frustration but now by the help of your blog. I will love to make my blog grow in a new way.
