Having a clear vision on what you're trying to achieve is important and you need to take action on your HOPE as well.
People might blogging from all around the world but they do have one problem in common and that is…
… their blog don’t converting well. With that issue is enough to take whole blog down. As many people said that ‘traffic equals money' and I'd definitely agreed.
The thing we always want is turning new visitors into email subscribers and prospect into customers. That stuff is really what flow water into your bank account.
And here is the important question:
Are You Clear On What You’re doing?
- You know what you have to do, you’ll also have to know where it’s going to.
- You publish new fresh content, but you need to have a purpose.
- And you need an audience for your blog, but you also need to know who you are writing for.
- Finally, you want to build an authority blog…
… But you can’t clearly articulate why people should visit, stick around and take action.
Read it again…
You can't clearly articulate why people should visit, stick around and take action.
and that is why you struggle and eventually can't further be working on your goals.
I called this No Eyes Blogging and you should definitely avoid this. The idea is not very complicated. If you have a purpose on what you want to write, know who you're writing for, then building an audience is not going to be hard.
(Not only writing that you can use to build your audience, creating audio, video content are also a way to go… YouTube gets around 3 billion visitors each month and)
There are blogs that are writing about travelling in one week and social media in another. I've come across personal development blogs that selling social media ebooks.
Have you noticed the inconsistent? But they're doing great.
So How Can you Avoid No Eyes Blogging?
Well… the very first step is forget your problem and believed your problem will be solved via taking action.
The second step is if you haven't already got a goal, pick one and figure out what your ideal customers wants from you.
If you're blogging with no eyes and with hoping that what you do or you blog content gets found and shared, then you'll have to wait for a long time.
Successful people aren't successful by accident… but by time commitment and hard-working, they become successful on purpose.
In the beginning, you have to focus on a specific group of people who are like sharing what problems that you sharing. And not only do you share a similar problem, but you also have to go around, actively search for the solution and proof on what you’re sharing….
… It's important to not just only share about the problem but you also need to share the solution to that problem.
Successful bloggers are never trying to be great at 101 things because they understand the principles behind effective positioning. You only get to sudden point if you're trying to be everything to everyone.
In fact, focus on 1 or 2 things and become an expert on them instead. And always keep find the problems and search for the solution to solve them.
You are not a No Eyes Blogger
Once you find out:
- The purpose of your blog, know where you’re going
- Who you're writing for
- Problems that you're trying to solve
- Why people should visit, stick around and take action…
