In September I am going to complete 2 years in blogging. The journey all-over was awesome as I learnt many things in this process and made hundreds of new friends online.
I Started blogging just by-chance but soon I started getting too much interest in it and finally decided to pursue my life as blogger only.
There were many ups and down in this process and a lot of obstacles which tried to stopped me – few of those obstacles were my friends, my family, my motivation level, knowledge, time and commitment. But things started changing very soon when I started making money online after 7 months. 🙂
I am continuously blogging from last 2 years, and I don't remember any long break which I took in this journey.
So I decided to take a short break of 5 days (next break is going to be for 10+ days) and decided to visit Manali (Himachal Pradesh).
This was my first visit in Manali, so for sure things were going to become very interested and exciting.
We left on 27th August 2013.
Journey from our city to Manali is around 1000 Kilometer, so we decided (3 friends were with me) to left on night.
We left on 10:30 PM and reached Manali 7:30 PM.
There were many places to visit life Rohtang (very cold place), Jaana Fall (A very big water fall, although water was very less when we reached there), Paragliding spot (There was raining so we were not able to get the ride).
Here are few pics
How was the experience?
Obviously it was superb and I enjoyed these 5 days completely.
During these 5 days I didn't even check my mails and didn't login into my blog's dashboards.
I used Facebook for just 5-10 minutes each days just to upload my pics. 🙂
So things in blogging were running at their own.
Did I make some money?
Although money-wise this was not a good period, because my main sites got hit by last Google update which was launched on 23rd August.
So overall I made around $90 during this period with AdSense.
$35 from infolinks and $40 with a paid post which sold when I was not present (I will write article on that paid post on one of my site soon ;)).
Total = $90+$40+$35 = $165
Not a bad income when you are not directly involved. 🙂
I am fully recharged now (mentally and physically) and going to work on my blogs very delicately.
I have planned my next tour for Thailand and hope I am going to visit it this year.
Hope this article will help you to imagine the freedom of blogging when there is no boss to call you and you can have full-time to enjoy your life.
Start dreaming and be courageous to convert it into reality.
All the very best. (Y)
