We Completed Awesome One Year !! :)

First of all I would like to say Happy Birthday to Blogging Cage.

We started one year back on the same date with lot of excitement and passion. We continued putting our efforts and serving best tutorials to our readers so that we can contribute in this blogging community.

I am using word “WE” because I am not alone who is running Blogging Cage. We are having awesome 107 contributor on our blog, who have done his/her best to raise the voice of blogging. So thanks to all my contributors/authors who have been always there to share blogging tips from their experience and I was able to interact more more loyal readers.

During this one year I have seen many new bloggers rising and many of them left too.

I kept analyzing the strategies of blogging and putting then into action so that I can serve this world more brilliantly.

Here are some ups and downs of my blogging experience.

As I told I started one year back on same date.

This was not actually a new blog that time, because I imported data from one of my blog www.kulwantnagi.com becuase some good bloggers suggested my not to run blogging niche blog on your name.

So I imported all the data from my PR2 blog (It’s still PR2) to Blogging Cage with all the new things.

I started writing more and more articles so that I can share more tips. But as this was a new blog so first 2 months were very hard (as usual).

Our Alexa was decreasing with very fast speed and happiness was coming on my face because this means people were coming on my blog. On next PR update we got PR2 which was a very good news for me.

So this was the time when people started showing interest to write on my blog.

Then on 16th February I moved my blog to Genesis Framework.

This Framework was very new for me but I started learning about it and coded my first theme, which is still live on Blogging Cage.

Traffic was increasing day by day and I was putting same efforts to write more.

We got hurted by Google Panda

Then one Panda Update and everything gone.

Traffic dropped upto 60% and blog was almost dead. No visitors, no interaction in comments.

This period was very disappointed for me.

Then I started reading more and more articles how to recover from Google Panda.

We recovered from Panda.

I tried finding all loopholes on my blog and started eliminating the things which can cause bad effect of my blog.

Removed 30+ low quality posts.

Removed 300+ low quality comments.

Removed all the bad backlinks using Google Disavow Tool.

So at the end my traffic is back and increasing day by day.

Started E-Mail Marketing

I started E-Mail marketing on the same day (today). As I had planned that I will launch my book on this day only.

 

Final Words !!

Finally I would like to say that I am going to take my blog to next level this year because I have opted blogging as lifetime career now.

Working as full time blogger will bring lot more opportunities in future and I will keep putting my efforts to serve this world.
