Today I Shifted My Blog to Genesis Framework and I am very happy and excited to use this framework for long time and with more wonderful tweaks to make my theme as unique theme. There are two big players in the market which are giving Theme Frameworks and they are Thesis and Genesis.
I am in blogging from last 5 months and have observed there are too much blogs on Genesis as compared to Thesis. People are shifting their blog to genesis and having much better experiences as compared to their previous theme. And I know NEWS Child theme is the most loved genesis child theme.
Why I shifted ?
As you know speed is the prime factor for any website to be successful and if your blog is loading too late then there is chance that your visitor will feel bit lazy to wait for loading and finally he/she will opt to close your blog. Genesis is one of the famous framework which have designed such a way that it follow all the rules which should be there for a fast loading blog.
My Experience with Woothemes was very good and I am still happy with them but the only thing I was missing the speed of loading and genesis is doing this very well for me

If you want to stand out of the crowd theme there is good news for you that you can customize your theme as u wish. Genesis have simple hooks and by understanding these hooks you can make a good-looking theme for you. This thing attracted me and I Shifted My Blog to Genesis Framework.
- On Site Updation
Like in Thesis every-time new update will come you will have to go on Thesis blog and download the theme and upload to you repository. But Genesis have the awesome feature that it will show update in your Dashboard itself. you just need to press update button and theme will get update automatically.
By observing all these awesome features I decided to Shifted My Blog to Genesis Framework and still adding some more tweaks to have much better experience.

Great going……… well you made the post with plus points of Genesis. i think its better to share if you face any problems while using genesis.
Hope any problem will not come with the theme.. if there will be any then I know how to tweak this…

I want to ask small question: If I install WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin/or any other similar SEO plugin with the Genesis then will that combination can perform anything special as compared to non genesis theme + wordpress plugin?
Asking this because I found lots f post saying that Genesis has best SEO etc etc…

Genesis itself is having awesome SEO features like nofollow, index, nonindex etc. so you need not to install other SEO Plugins. Along with these Genesis SEO include canonical URL also which are very good from SEO point of view.
We should always try to use as less plugins as we can use because more plugins will make your website very heavy and visitors will not have good experience after coming to your site.
So my suggestion is don’t use any SEO Plugin with Genesis as its own SEO is very strong.
YOUR THEME LOOKS REALLY COOL. WELL i HAVE ALSO UPDATED MY BLOG TO GENESIS BUT DIDN’T HAVE SHARED IT YET.
