Relevent Backlinks are the best way and Google love them !! But for EDU backlinks you must take care because because of the importance of EDU backlinks you will see too much spammy articles !! If you want to make good EDU backlinks then target good blogs only..

You could try fiverr.com There are several merchants there selling cheap edu/gov backlinks. Dont know the quality, but all the sellers are constantly rated and given feedback so you might get lucky.
Rick, There are numerous sellers on Fiverr, but i wouldn’t recommend if you are going to build an authority blog. Because all the sellers on Fiverr are using some automated software and most of the time they provide backlinks from spammy sites.
Because at the end your NATURAL backlink building is going to benefit you.
