Interview – Sandeep Kumar (Owner of FirstDestination.co.in)

Here Comes the third Interview of my Interview Series. Another Blogger from India. He is none other then Sandeep Kumar. He Belongs to a very beautiful place Meerut, India. His Enthusiasm of Blogging can be well judge by knowing that apart from his job he is doing well well blogging. A Software Engineer from Dell now going to do big with blogging also.

Sandeep not only helping bloggers by just posting in his blog, he is also very active member in various blogging Groups in Facebook and you can ask any question from him there. With the plus point of programming he can handle your questions very well. Lets read his own words about blogging and about his life.

1. When did you start Blogging
It was my dream from my childhood to be a blogger that’s why when I grew up I started blogging. Don’t take my word seriously, I am kidding.
I came to know about blog in 2007, since then I am following few famous blogs. In last four years I have learnt a lot about blogs and its power. Early this year my wife asked me,” If you have so much interest in blogging then why don’t you start your own blog”? So in July 2011 I started my own blog http://www.firstdestination.co.in.

3 months (I am not including my Old blogs experience)

3. What is your Educational Background
I am a Software Engineer, I have done my B.Tech from NIT-Allahabad (also known as MNREC) in year 2005.

4. What was the biggest obstacle when you started blogging?
For me the biggest obstacle was choosing a niche for me. I have knowledge about programming languages, gadgets, blogging, online marketing and I love to read latest technology news so it was very difficult for me to choose a topic for my blog from my interests. But after giving myself some time I finally decided to choose ‘Blogging Tips’ as my niche.

5. The best thing you did for building your Blog
Planning – This time I have prepared a plan in which I have set my short term and long term milestones. I am continuously reviewing it and modifying it based on situation.

6. What topics you are covering in your blog
Main motive of my blog is to share my blogging experience with others. I am writing on ‘Blogging Tips’, ‘SEO Tips’, ‘Online make Money Tips’ apart from this I have one more section in my blog in which I put ‘Interesting Facts about different things’.

7. How you are making money from blog
I have started my blog just 3 months ago. I have not monetized it yet, but I have plan for it.

8. From where you got the inspiration
Mainly I follow John (TentBlogger) and Darren Browse ( Problogger). I am very much inspired by John. He has gained so much popularity within 1 year of starting his blog. Everybody knows about Darren, he is one of the Blogging Guru.

9. Do you have any experience of Coding
I am a hard code developer. I am Microsoft Certified professional and have knowledge of HTML, C#, C, C++, PHP, Jquery, Java Script, XML, SQL.

I am not a book worm. I am a power net user. I read all the news/articles/stories over internet only.
