W3 Total Cache is one of the famous plugin in WordPress Plugin repository with 1,511,312 downloads till now.
You must be aware that page speed is one of the factor of good SEO. If you blog is taking time to load then you are in danger and Google will not prioritize your blog on higher SERP.
Many people ask me about W3 Total Cache Setting and I always tell them every single step to do so that they can configure it on their blog properly.
W3 Total Cache improves the user experience of your site by improving your server performance, caching every aspect of your site, reducing the download times and providing transparent content delivery network (CDN) integration.
Here is simple to implement W3 Total Cache Setting Guide
After you activated the plugin see on your admin sidebar called “Performance.”
click on the “General Settings” sub-section.
Step 1: Under “General,” Check “Toggle all caching types on or off at once.”
This will activate all the features in W3Total Cache and you can see all of them.
Note: I would recommend uncheck CDN setting if you are not using any CDN on your blog.

Step 2: Click on the Browser Cache sub-section.
- Set expires header
- Set cache control header
- Set entity tag (eTag)
Step 3: Se setting of Minify in General Setting.
It must be enable now (if not then click it) and select minify mode as auto.
Save All Settings.
In General Setting, click on the Minify sub-section.
Under HTML & XML, check Enable in the HTML minify settings. You can also check the other options, but make sure to test your site to see if it breaks.
Save the Settings.
Do all W3 Total Cache Setting carefully and see the speed of your blog before and after the settings.
For sure you will see improvement in speed.
You can use GTMetrix to check the speed of your blog.
