Why Blogging Community is getting Dirty

Blogging no doubt is the most passionate and for most of the people a Goldmine these days. People are so much inclined towards blogging that they will do something very big in such a short time. I have seen some guys who are starting blogging even they don’t even know about the internet very well.

RandyGlasbergen BloggingCartoon Why Blogging Community is getting Dirty

Blogging Community is expending at very fast pace and this is a good news for all of us. because gone were the days when you searched something on Google and you didn’t found the relevent information and finally you end up with disappointment. Bloggers have provided so much information that you can find the information about each and every topic.

I have seen some cases where i felt that Blogging Community is getting Dirty.

What can be the reason ?

Why there is so much rage in this Community ?

Few days back I became the victim of such criticism. I know that Criticism is the best way to hone your skills because a critic is the only person who will ignite the power inside you. He never shy to point out your weakness and your mistakes.

But what if he is saying wrong about you without even providing some source of evidence.

I tried to find out some reason why Blogging Community is getting Dirty.

People are Frustrated

I am saying this on the basis of your time and skill. when you put time in something and you end up with nothing then for sure the frustration will come. You know that Google is most famous and loved way to make money online but they have become so much strict that they are not accepting the applications as they were before. After accepting your application when your account got disabled in few days then the biggest disappointment comes to you which is not bearable.

The same incident happened few days back when one of my friend shared the information that his Google Adsense account is approved in just two days !! This is no doubt the happiest day for any new blogger that his adsense is approved.

But apart from congratulation him one mad guy sent a very molested message on Facebook. So my question here is why he sent him that message ? if he is not happy with his achievement then why he is sending him message.

People don’t know how to Behave

Blogging is a platform which will make you a well known identity. But are you seriously doing some work to get a well known person.

In online world no one know each other personally and that only medium of getting connected in the Social Networking Websites.

If you don’t know how to behave then you can never know how to write because blogging is about writing and expressing the feelings. I have seen some guys who don’t even know how to respect the fellows and how to speak politely.

They don’t know the Power of internet

Internet is the most powerful thing existing in this world which have united the nations and some of the impossible tasks have been done with the help of internet. either its was online operation or it was the control of Large Hadron Collider.

If some people are mistreating with other people online then they really don’t know how bad experience they can have. because tracing any identity on internet is not impossible these days. So if you are saying something wrong about anyone then there might be the chance that he feel so bad that he will start tracing you. and once he will be able to trace you then the output you know already. So in Blogging Community you need to be polite to all others and respect others.

People are Jealous

when someone is doing very hard work and rising at the speed faster then others then there will be too much people who will be jealous of you.  They are not only jealous but they are also afraid of you because they know that you are going to suppress them very shortly.

The same incident happened with one of my friend when he was taking part in a Guest Blogging Contest.

“Work without FUN is Nothing”

So there must be some fun in working.

One fellow bloggers shows some conversation with my friend to the Blogging Contest Blog Owner. And the owner removed his post from that contest just because he said that some person helped him to write the post.

So here my question is do the owner have the rights to know that who wrote the post for the contest. At max he can do it to check the post and see if this is passing the copyscape and  plagiarism then this post is OK. Either there are 2 or 3 or even 10 bloggers are behind that one post he should not be concerned with this.

And the owner disqualified the post only because that he think this post was written by two guys and one of then was just 13 years old. Seems a JOKE na ? but yes they removed his post.

I am amazed that people are afraid of from this 13 years old guy because he helped other blogger for writing the post. A real blogger always appreciate the newbies so that they can make big fame and name in future. So disqualifying the posts simply means that you are afraid of from 13 years old icon biggrin Why Blogging Community is getting Dirty .

So Finally I would like to say that work in way so that we can proudly say that we are bloggers and part of Indian Blogging Community and don’t make it Dirty.

    Hello Kulwant,

Our world is full of idiot people. People that you see around you always feel jealous to you because of your success and your work.. And they tries every possibly thing to bring you down. They will make you cry like 2 year baby, if you let them. The words that they speaks will be bitter and harsh always.

So the best option is to ignore this kind of people…

  5. You really made great points here. I think jealous is the reason for many to do like this. I know the whole thing which you are indirectly pointing out :P
And we should behave like one community and should help each other in promoting and making the Blogosphere with worthy content.

  6. Does it seem fair to others in the same contest? What if, say, Darren Rowse ghost wrote a post for a contestant in a small contest on photography or blogging to earn money? Would that be okay, do you think?

I know that when I was in the Surviving the Blog contest, last year, we had a number of rules questions – we asked for the judges to determine whether things done by the other team were fair, and in one case there was even a ruling against ME (for landing a guest post where I was allowed to place more than the “customary” three backlinks – only three of twelve were counted for points). I was disappointed, and it cost me the round. BUT, there should never be anything wrong in approaching the contest organizer for clarification of the rules, to ensure fairness for all; the decision is then his or hers. No one should gang up on the person asking the question or on the contest organizer for answering it, as I saw happening yesterday. And if the questioned action is within the rules, why should there be any secrecy or changing the story to say “oh, it was just a JOKE”?

    • Holly rules are for controlling the community not for Dominating and Suppressing the contestants !! Things which happened yesterday should not be happened and bloggers are really very sad after that incident..

Do you think that two person cannot write one post for any contest ?

      • I think that’s a question that should have been asked, up front and openly, of the organizer. If it had been, then perhaps the outcome here would have been very different.

Keep in mind that the contest is to see who is the best guest blogger – which sort of implies that the person claiming to write the post IS the person writing the post, don’t you think? Imagine this hypothetical: A writes the winning post for B. After the contest, C hires B, thinking B has a legitimate claim to being the “best guest blogger.” C doesn’t get a post in the same style or of the same quality C expected – because, in fact, it was not B’s work. Is that fair?

Secondly, the contest was for members only. One could argue “one member, one entry” – but then why the secrecy? Why HIDE the fact that the post was written by another member of the team who is NOT A MEMBER? Why not get the eligibility ruling first?

It’s all very unfortunate, but really, I’m much more interested in how people treat people and handle misunderstandings, and whether they take any accountability for their own part in such misunderstandings. I don’t know if you read the post I linked here, with CommentLuv… but seriously, there ARE more important things than winning.

  7. Hi Kulwant,
It is a sad story for me when I heard that Brian removed Amit shaw posts from the contest all because of that issue. He does not have right to do so but you know he owns the blog and can do whatever he likes. Thanks for this great post man.

  8. I think this has become like a political stage! Why must this be so complicated? Blogging should be fun and everyone should enjoy it. Did the contest organizer show any evidence that your friend’s article wasn’t his own work? If not, then I think your friend’s article is unfairly removed and ridiculously disqualified.

@Kulwant Nagi, the article written is awesome, i do appreciate the fellow blogger or group of bloggers who have the skills of making people understand by their own writing skills. The point mentioned about in Guest blogging, that how can a 13 yr old guy write something..
My answer to this is, we are in digital modern and fast world, and we can learn anything and everything from any one..be it a child or elder person.
